Job description

As an IT Azure Technical Expert, you will play a key role within the Corporate IT organization supporting Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS - G6 technology). You will bring deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, backend development, and system integration to design, deploy, and maintain scalable applications on Microsoft Azure.

Your duties will include managing Kubernetes clusters, configuring Nginx for optimized traffic flow, and developing backend services using Spring Boot. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams-including integration, QA, and operations - in an agile environment, and provide technical guidance to vendor partners to ensure high-quality delivery of cloud-based solutions.

This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver with strong cloud architecture skills, a passion for DevOps practices, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, international setting.

Responsabilities

  • Review, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters for production workloads.
  • Configure and maintain Nginx for load balancing, reverse proxy, and secure traffic management.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Grafana, etc.).
  • Apply cloud security best practices, including IAM, policies, and network security.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues to ensure system uptime.
  • Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Implement and develop integration projects using Azure functions.

Requirements

  • Cloud: Microsoft Azure (App Services, AKS, Networking, Storage, IAM).
  • Orchestration: Kubernetes administration and management.
  • Web servers: Advanced knowledge of Nginx.
  • CI/CD: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
  • Monitoring/Logging: Grafana, ELK stack (or equivalents).
  • Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Security & Networking: Cloud networking, firewalls, RBAC, SSL/TLS.

Nice to Have

  • Certifications in Azure or Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD)
  • Experience with Spring Boot / Java (J2EE framework, JBoss deployment) for smoother collaboration with development teams
  • Familiarity with GIT repositories and API gateways/service meshes (Istio, Linkerd)
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps, cloud cost optimization strategies, and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems)
