Deploy security controls and tools to monitor and protect cloud infrastructure and applications from threats. Respond to security incidents and actively participate in incident response activities, ensuring rapid containment and resolution. Work closely with development, operations, and other teams to ensure that security is integrated into the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Keep up-to-date on the latest cloud security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices, and implement necessary changes to stay ahead. Requirements
Cloud Security Engineer or similar role, with hands-on experience securing cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Expertise in cloud security architectures and tools. Experience with security frameworks and compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA). Proficiency in cloud-native security solutions such as IAM, encryption, WAF, and SIEM. Knowledge of integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices. Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing security challenges. Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities.
