Data & AI Software Engineer

For a prestigious Manufacturing company we are looking for a Software Engineer - Data & AI Platform Location: Barcelona (Hybrid - 2 days/week in the office) Contract Type: Permanent, full-time Are you passionate about building cutting-edge cloud services in the Data & AI space? Role As a Software Engineer - Data & AI Platform, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and operating a scalable cloud environment that enables innovative data and AI solutions. You'll collaborate closely with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver robust, production-ready systems. What You'll Do * Design and develop components of a sovereign Data & AI platform offered as a cloud service. * Extend system architecture and integrate relevant open-source technologies. * Build REST APIs to enable customers to

manage service lifecycles. * Develop Kubernetes operators to automate lifecycle management of cloud services. * Take full ownership in an agile team - You build it, you run it! * Perform in-depth root cause analyses and implement sustainable solutions. What You Bring * 3+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably in cloud environments. * Strong programming skills in Golang. * Hands-on experience with Kubernetes - ideally with cluster creation, advanced administration, or operator development. * Familiarity with technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Airflow, or Dremio is a plus. * A growth mindset: you love learning new tools and sharing your knowledge. * Collaborative spirit and proactive attitude - you thrive in a team that values curiosity and continuous improvement.
