Tasks

• Explore and implement data-driven solutions for intralogistics.
• Transform complex datasets using Python, SQL, and modern tools.
• Create and maintain databases and pipelines for research and business., Our innovation team researches new technologies, develops prototypes, and implements ideas into solutions that shape the future of intralogistics. To strengthen this team, we are looking for a curious, communicative, and flexible Data Engineer. What you will achieve with us

• Research, design, and implement innovative data-driven solutions for intralogistics challenges
• Clean, structure, and transform complex datasets using Python, SQL, and modern data tools
• Create and maintain databases and pipelines to enable research, prototyping, and business use cases
• Contribute to complex and cutting-edge deep learning projects with programming skills, mathematical thinking, and active discussion
• Process and analyze signal data in close collaboration with hardware and software teams
• Support data collection on-site through international business trips as needed
• Conduct simulations

• Degree in computer science, data processing, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Python and SQL with data processing experience.
• Fluent in English and German, with deep learning knowledge., * Background in computer science, data processing, mathematics, or a related field with a university degree or equivalent practical experience
• Solid knowledge of Python and SQL with practical experience in data processing (data cleaning, pipelines, database design)
• Practical experience with common Python data packages such as pandas or NumPy
• Flexible and proactive mindset with strong communication skills and willingness for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Curiosity and the ability to quickly acquire new knowledge in a rapidly changing environment
• Fluent English and German skills in spoken and written form (C1-C2)
• Experience with Docker or containerized applications
• Knowledge of deep learning concepts or experience with applied ML
• Background in data analysis, signal analysis, or applied data science
