The cantonal tax office, together with the municipal tax offices, collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at the location in Zurich Altstetten.

As an Enterprise Architect with a focus on IT architecture, you will take on tasks of sustainable importance for the canton of Zurich in this newly created role. Our services support over 2,500 municipal and cantonal employees daily as well as over one million private individuals and companies annually in tax declaration. In this key position, you will further develop our enterprise architecture and help shape the digital transformation of the tax system.

Your tasks

• You are jointly responsible with the business architect for the enterprise-wide architecture of the tax office.
• You take on the design and implementation of the IT architecture for around 90 specialist applications operated in various data centers.
• You shape our architecture processes and develop innovative target architectures.
• You convey architectural topics to your colleagues methodically and practically.
• You communicate with various departments within the tax office - at different levels up to management.

• Several years of experience as an enterprise architect, ideally with TOGAF.
• Strong initiative and service orientation in a structured approach.
• Proficient in German, both written and spoken., You have several years of experience as an enterprise architect with a focus on IT - ideally applying the TOGAF® framework.

• You hold a university degree in computer science, management, business administration, or a comparable field.
• You understand how to transfer complex issues in a structured and systematic way into practical solutions.
• Your initiative, service orientation, and confident German language skills in spoken and written form complete your profile.
