Job description
- Design and build secure, scalable network infrastructure on AWS - including VPCs, VPNs, Transit Gateways, and hybrid connectivity - to support our global operations
- Integrate new cloud environments into our existing architecture, ensuring seamless, secure, and consistent performance
- Operate and optimize our AWS environments and Kubernetes clusters (EKS) to maintain high availability, reliability, and top-tier performance
- Develop and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, with infrastructure defined through Terraform and Kubernetes
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and updates with Terraform, following infrastructure-as-code best practices
- Monitor and analyze infrastructure and application performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS-native tools to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and infrastructure challenges in both cloud-native and hybrid setups
Requirements
Do you have experience in VPN?, * Solid experience designing and managing AWS cloud networks, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, Transit Gateways, VPNs, and Direct Connect
- Good understanding of core networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, and DNS, as well as VPN technologies like IPSec
- Experienced in monitoring and optimizing network performance and cost using AWS tools (e.g., CloudWatch) and third-party tools like Grafana and Prometheus
- Skilled in using Terraform and Ansible to define and manage infrastructure as code
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI
- Familiar with Kubernetes (EKS) and deploying applications using ArgoCD in GitOps workflows
Nice to have:
- Scripting skills in Python or Bash, and experience with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana
- Experience with Fortinet firewalls, routers, and security appliances, especially for integrating on-premises networks with AWS
