Azure Databricks Engineer

• Implement and optimize the use of Unity Catalog for data governance and management within the Azure Databricks environment., * Unity Catalog Setup & Configuration: Provide guidance and support for the initial setup and configuration of Unity Catalog.
• Ensure seamless integration with Azure services (e.g., ADLS, Key Vault, ADF), including in a hub-and-spoke architecture.
• Collaborate closely with the internal IT platform engineering team. Best Practices: Analyze usage patterns and define best practices for Unity Catalog.
• Support implementation aligned with governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Documentation & Architecture: Document architecture decisions, configuration steps, and lessons learned.
• Deliver clear technical documentation for stakeholders.

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer, with a certification in Azure Databricks to join a customer in Switzerland on a long term project. Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, specifically Unity Catalog.
• Strong knowledge of Azure data services and cloud architecture.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance requirements in financial services.
• Excellent technical writing and stakeholder communication skills
