About the company
CARTO is the leading cloud-native spatial analysis platform. Unlike other GIS systems, CARTO eliminates data fragmentation and technical bottlenecks by letting you build and deploy everything from AI Agents and geospatial workflows to interactive maps directly within your data warehouse.
CARTO breaks down the silos between technical and business teams, making spatial analysis accessible to everyone - from technical specialists like data analysts, GIS analysts & developers, to business analysts and decision-makers. This makes Location Intelligence more accessible, scalable, and governable, helping companies turn their data into business value for use cases like optimizing network planning, assessing risk, and identifying growth opportunities.
CARTO has built the most advanced location intelligence platform which connects directly to the most used Data Warehouses in the industry such as Google's BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks and Oracle; thus, allowing our partners and customers to do location intelligence and geospatial analysis directly where their data lives opening limitless possibilities for their businesses.
To continue our growth, we are looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to join CARTO's Builder team to build and evolve our "Map Builder", a WebGL empowered, high-performance web application for geospatial analytic visualizations based on React + Redux which now allows our customers to interact with AI models (See more in CARTO Agentic GIS)
In CARTO we know that the use of AI fosters innovation and delivers a superior product to users, that's why we integrate cutting-edge AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle to enhance design, build, test, deploy, and maintain our spatial analytics platform.
If you love to be in contact with top engineers around the world in geospatial, this is your place!
