Job description
- Conduct threat modeling and define security controls for complex applications and web-based platforms.
- Develop and apply advanced hardening techniques for operating systems.
- Design and implement basic network security mechanisms such as VPNs and tunneling.
- Configure robust security settings for cloud-based environments.
- Create simple cryptographic solutions to ensure data privacy and integrity.
The cybersecurity engineer works closely with various teams, including:
- Software Development: to integrate security and privacy principles from the design phase.
- Quality Assurance: to plan and execute cybersecurity testing throughout the product lifecycle.
- Service & Support: to respond to cybersecurity incidents affecting products in the market.
Requirements

Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.

Minimumof 4yearsofexperienceinoneormoreofthefollowingareas:

Ethical hacking and penetration testing

Security-by-design for products

Cloud security operations

Strong understanding of secure coding practices and product security standards.

Certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).

Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies.

Familiarity with standards like ISO 27001.

Understanding of medical device regulations.
Design, implement, test, and manage security solutions that protect systems, networks, and data. It requires a strong grasp of current and emerging cybersecurity threats, along with the ability to build and validate resilient security architectures.
