Opportunity to lead the AI development of the company products Technical Skills Bachelors or masters degree in physics, biomedical engineering, computer science or a related field Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in machine learning, deep learning, or related areas. Proficient in Python for data manipulation, model development, and experiment tracking. Experience in end-to-end ML projects, from data collection to production-level deployment (ONNX, ONNXRuntime, quantization) Experience with image segmentation, object detection, and other computer vision tasks. Experience with medical imaging (CT and MRI), PyTorch/TensorFlow, medical image NIfTI format and git is preferable Must be proficient in spoken and written English knowledge of C++ is a plus Soft Skills Analytical mindset - Ability to break down complex problems and approach them with structured thinking Collaborative: Comfortable working in cross-functional and sharing knowledge openly Clear communication - Able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Detail-oriented - Strong focus on accuracy, quality, and reliability in both code and results Time management - Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a flexible work environment Self-driven learning - Proactive in staying up to date with the latest trends in ML and AI Our client is a Catalan company based in Barcelona city center, specialized in medical-image software development.
