Job description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager (PM) for IT/OT Infrastructure to join our team in Basel, Switzerland. This role will be responsible for leading and managing complex IT and OT infrastructure projects within our pharmaceutical operations in Stein and Basel.

  • Develop and execute project plans for IT/OT infrastructure initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions on time and within budget
  • Manage project scope, schedules, and resources, identifying and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure successful implementation of IT/OT systems
  • Oversee the integration of IT and OT systems, ensuring seamless communication between enterprise and industrial control systems
  • Implement and maintain project management best practices, methodologies, and tools
  • Ensure compliance with GxP regulations and industry standards throughout all project phases
  • Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management and key stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for IT/OT infrastructure processes and systems

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT/OT infrastructure project management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong knowledge of IT/OT infrastructure systems, technologies, and integration strategies
  • Proven experience managing complex projects in regulated environments
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 certification)
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Experience with GxP compliance and validation processes
  • Knowledge of industrial control systems and automation
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices in IT/OT environments
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA)
  • Ability to work onsite in both Stein and Basel, Switzerland
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
