Openshift Systems Technician / Developer (DEVOPS)

• Manage and maintain Red Hat OpenShift platforms , ensuring their proper functioning, high availability, and operational continuity.
• Managing OpenShift clusters: creating projects, configuring resources, deploying applications, version control, and monitoring cluster status.
• Operate and administer Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) , managing distributed storage, persistent volumes, performance, capacity, and resilience policies.
• Implement, configure and maintain Velero for backups , restores, data protection and disaster recovery in OpenShift environments.
• Monitor cluster and storage performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing preventative improvements.
• Manage environment security: access control, certificates, policies, namespace configuration and resources.
• Automate administration, deployment, and maintenance tasks using native OpenShift tools.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to the platform, ODF storage, and backup and restore processes with Velero.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure efficient and secure application deployment.
• Document procedures, configurations, incidents, and best practices to ensure traceability and standardization of the environment.

Do you have experience in Python?, * Higher Vocational Training (Information Technology and Communications Family) or Higher Degree: Computer Engineering or Telecommunications.

• At least 2 years of experience in the administration and operation of Red Hat OpenShift
• At least 2 years of experience in the administration and operation of Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation
• At least 1 year of experience in the administration and operation of a sailboat

Valuable Aspects

• Experience in administering IBM Cloud Pak for Data
• Knowledge of: ArgoCD, Python , Git, Helm Charts , Networking, Development, Kubernetes Controllers, Observability: Grafana , Prometheus , Tempo
