Job description

Senior Electronics Engineer (with Medical Devices development experience) We are scientists, doctors, techies and humanity lovers, with the mission of pioneering real time precision neurology to cure brain-related disorders. INBRAIN harnesses the extraordinary material properties of Graphene, the world's thinnest and nobel-prize winning material, to build high resolution neural systems. Our mission is to decode and modulate neural networks to restore people's lives. Key Responsibilities * Develop electronic circuits for implantable neurostimulation systems, collaborating with mechanical and software engineering teams. * Architect technical concepts and assess feasibility. * Translate system requirements into electronic subsystem and interface requirements. * Perform functional analysis and create system designs that meet requirements. * Develop medical devices according to applicable standards (IEC-60601-1, IEC-60601-2). * Manage external partners in outsourced design, assembly

Requirements

verification and validation of electronic systems. * Support electronics integration and process development for neurostimulation system. * Define test strategies to verify electronic systems against product and manufacturing requirements. * Lead development of test systems for verification and manufacturing tests. * Apply risk management and perform DFMEA on designs. * Initiate and lead design reviews, technical reviews, milestone reviews. * Lead and participate in system integration, verification, and validation. * Understand and apply DFR/DFM/DFT (Design for Reliability, Design for Manufacturing, Design for Test). Qualifications * BSc or MSc in Electronics Engineering. * At least 6 years of experience in medical device development. * Expertise in electronics and PCB design according to IPC standards. * Full development cycle experience (design, manufacturing, verification, validation). * System-thinking attitude with teamwork and sparring partner skills. * Experience with electronic simulation and design tools (Spice, Altium, etc.). * Solid understanding of medical risk analysis, FMEA. * Experience managing outsourced development for design, manufacturing, integration. * Verification test design and execution, including statistical analysis. * Knowledge of IEC-60601-1, IEC-60601-2 standards in medical device electronics design and verification. * Fluency in English required; Spanish a plus. * Team player and strategic thinker. Nice to Have * Experience designing active implantable devices per ISO 14708. * Familiarity with design and verification standards for active implantable medical devices. * Design and testing for MRI compatibility. * Wireless communication and wireless charging experience. * Cross-disciplinary medical device design (mechanical, software). * Background in neuroscience with interest in deeper understanding.
