Job description
As a Data Science Manager specializing in the marketing domain, you will lead a team of data experts, drive cutting-edge projects in marketing measurement-such as Marketing Mix Modeling, Incrementality Testing, and Attribution Studies-and help our clients transform their businesses through data:
- Building the vision for Data Science at Artefact and managing the Data Science team in their day-to-day activities.
- Raising team competencies: you will play a key role in upskilling your team, ensuring continuous learning and development.
- Leading ambitious projects that drive business transformation for clients by leveraging data insights.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams: work with our Activation, Creativity, and Strategy teams to offer a full-service solution for clients.
- Developing strong relationships: engage with C-level executives at our client organizations, using your technical expertise to drive marketing transformations and position Artefact as their preferred partner.
In this role, you will also be responsible for:

Managing the Data Science team:

Overseeing resources to match team skills with project challenges.

Securing successful delivery of client projects, ensuring high-quality results.
Promoting the Division's brand: represent the Data Science team's successes at the country level through events, public relations, and other communication platforms.
Collaborating with consulting managers to understand client needs, building long-term, strategic partnerships.
Enhancing Artefact's technical expertise:
- Research and develop new technical solutions to efficiently address client problems.
- Leverage the latest technologies through collaboration with Artefact's partners.
- Share best practices to contribute to Artefact's collective knowledge base.
Being an inspiring tech manager:
- Lead by example, demonstrating Artefact's core values.
- Prioritize team happiness while driving them to deliver high-standard work.
- Provide continuous feedback, mentoring, and ensure the team's success.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in data science, marketing, machine learning, mathematics, computer science, or related fields.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing data-driven solutions within the marketing measurement domain.
- Deep understanding of various marketing channels and platforms, including their roles within the media mix.
- Strong experience in data processing and data modeling.
- Experience in managing technical projects within a business context.
- Intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure and prioritize for maximum impact.
