Senior Backend Engineer Go (F/N/M)

What you'll do & Who you are Messaging & Contact Team Goal: Build better, more scalable, and more enjoyable messaging and communication services. You'll join a team that blends strong technical expertise with product vision, led by a former backend developer turned manager - and the hiring manager for this role. In short, the perfect setup to learn, share, and ship clean code. What you'll do day-to-day :

• Design, develop, and maintain solid, high-performance backend microservices
• Continuously improve our distributed architecture
• Work closely with QA, PM, UX, and Front-End teams to deliver meaningful features
• Optimize performance, scalability, and code quality
• Take an active role in technical and product decisions - not just execute
• And of course, code with autonomy, curiosity, and pragmatism

3+ years of experience with Go (Golang) - that's your foundation

• Some experience with Kotlin? Perfect - our Messaging stack runs on Kotlin

• Solid understanding of microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, scalability, and performance

• You like understanding the "why" behind the "how"

• You enjoy teamwork, sharing ideas, and challenging others constructively

• You are fluent in french/ english
