Job description

To ensure we provide a consistent high level of service to the business. Be pro-active by being onsite speaking to key stakeholders to understand their challenges and how I.T can help the business achieve its goals. This can also be achieved by using tools provided and preventing re-occurring issues. The role should be at a minimum 75% travel visiting Berry sites and 25% doing admin on tickets and / or hardware replacement / repairs., 1. Work towards key business KPI's set by I.T Management

  1. Provide remote and onsite hardware and software support

  2. Record all activity in Berry's ITSM tool

  3. Provide and update feedback to users as their calls are progressed

  4. Work as part of a geographically distributed team

  5. Liaise with 3rd parties and wider I.T team where necessary

  6. Identify and mitigate security incidents, GDPR compliance issues, application vulnerabilities, network/infrastructure and other vulnerabilities.

  7. Ensure correct documentation and procedures are followed or produced if needed

  8. Ensure all systems have a backup and are monitored for any failures

  9. Undertake training and research to maintain knowledge of current technology and systems

  10. Understand business operations and the key role IT plays within its operations

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical support?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, 1. Able to prioritise under pressure and work to deadlines

  1. Excellent decision making, judgement, planning and organisation skills

  2. Flexible, calm and approachable, 'can do' attitude

  3. Solid customer relations skills to understand customers concerns and requirements

  4. Able to lead projects and / or work as part of a project team

  5. Ability to work well within team, supporting other team members

  6. Willingness to gain relevant qualifications and accreditations

  7. Pro-active approach to work

  8. Good verbal and written communications skills

  9. Willing and able to travel not only to the expected time for the role but also in emergency scenarios

  10. Full Driving License

Mandatory Criteria:

  • Willing to travel frequently (2-3 days per week, up to 60%) or on an ad hoc basis across Germany and France.
  • Possesses a valid driving licence recognized in Germany.
  • Good communication skills
  • Proven experience in IT end-user support, including troubleshooting of networks, software, and hardware (printer setup and troubleshooting experience preferred)., * Are you proficient in troubleshooting PCs, printers, networking issues, and common enterprise applications? (pls share total years of work experience each of it)
  • Do you have a valid driving license to drive in France?
  • Do you require Company to provide you a work pass to work in France?
  • Are you OK to travel 2-3 days a week (around 50-60%) across France as needed? All travel, accommodation expenses will be reimbursed by the company.
  • What is your expected gross salary per day or per month in EUR currency? [Max salary budget is EUR160 per day rate]
