Job description
- Drive one of the game's core pillars with ownership and leadership, ensuring full alignment with the game director's creative vision and project goals
- Craft structured and detailed Game Design Documents (GDDs, specs, briefs) that drive clarity and alignment across teams
- Design and balance core systems: progression loops, reward economies, and gameplay mechanics tailored for a competitive F2P MMORTS
- Be responsible for the UX vision of the designed features: ease of use, clarity of visual feedback, and readability of information
- Analyze player data and KPIs to uncover pain points, gaps, and opportunities to boost engagement and retention
- Lead competitive benchmarking efforts, identifying trends, innovations, and best practices across the F2P and MMORTS space
- Champion the player voice, turning community feedback into actionable design improvements
- Run and document internal playtests, gathering insights and driving iterative improvement

Requirements
Do you have experience in Writing skills?, You will continuously improve the player experience through data, feedback, and your own sharp design instincts., * 10+ years of game design experience, ideally on mobile F2P and live-operated core games
- Proven expertise in system balancing and designing reward/progression mechanics (G.Sheet, Excel, Machinations…)
- Strong writing skills: your documentation is precise, structured, and actionable
- Comfort with data dashboards and KPI analysis
- Solid understanding of UX principles applied to game systems
- A genuine passion for competitive and community-driven games, ideally with hands-on MMORTS experience
- Bonus: familiarity with prototyping tools or game engines
- Fluency in French and English
