Job description
FBK is looking for an UX Designer with experience in the healthcare domain, with a strong background in Human-Computer Interaction, to design user-centered digital products across web and mobile platforms. The candidate will participate in all phases of the UX design process, from concept development to wireframing, interactive prototyping, testing, and implementation, collaborating within multidisciplinary teams including software analysts, designers, developers, and domain experts.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting user research, interviews, and usability testing to identify needs and insights.
- Translating research findings into information architecture, user flows, and interaction patterns.
- Designing wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes using Figma.
- Collaborating closely with developers and researchers to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.
- Developing and maintaining design systems to ensure visual and functional consistency.
- Contributing to the evaluation of usability and accessibility of existing products and services.
- Supporting workshops, co-design sessions, and stakeholder presentations.
The candidate will also collaborate with national and international partners involved in clinical studies conducted in real-world contexts.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- MSc Degree in Human-Computer Interaction or related field, or other educational background in Design or Digital Media.
- At least 1 year of UX design experience in the healthcare sector.
- Proficiency with Figma and other design tools.
- Knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, co-design workshops, and paper prototyping.
- Focus on accessible and inclusive design.
- Understanding of front-end development principles and practical experience with CSS.
- Strong analytical thinking combined with visual creativity, able to translate complex workflows into intuitive and meaningful experiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary and research-oriented teams.
- Good communication and relation skills.
- Oral and written proficiency in Italian and English.
