Job description
The Document Controller is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all documentation for multiple CCUS projects to ensure its accuracy, quality, accessibility, and compliance with internal standards and external regulations. This role plays a key role in supporting project teams by ensuring an efficient document flow and maintaining a structured document management system.
Main Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain document control procedures and systems.

Record, track, and archive all incoming and outgoing project documentation.

Ensure documents adhere to company standards, naming conventions, and revision management requirements.

Distribute documents to relevant parties and ensure timely updates.

Maintain accurate records of document flow, revisions, approvals, and statuses.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and other departments to collect and distribute documentation.

Monitor document deadlines and send reminders to ensure timely submissions.

Manage electronic document management systems (EDMS) and ensure data integrity.

Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive documents.

Previous staff experience with document control processes and tools, if required.
Requirements

University degree in engineering, information management, or a related field (preferred).

Proven experience as a Document Controller, Document Manager, or in a similar role.

Proficiency with document management software (e.g., McLaren, Fusion Live, Bentley, SharePoint).

Strong understanding of document control standards and best practices.

Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
