Senior React/React Native Engineer

Fastned aims to accelerate the transition towards sustainable mobility by giving freedom to electric drivers. As our Senior React Native App Developer you are responsible for developing experiences that are simple, drive engagement and deliver WOW to our users on every journey touchpoint, whether they're opening our mobile app, browsing our web dashboard, or interacting via in-car integrations. By delivering best in class app solutions for Fastned digital products, you get the unique opportunity to improve the EV driving experience and contribute to the transition to sustainable mobility.

In this role, you will contribute to our customer-facing products, including the Fastned mobile app and in-car applications. As a true problem-solver, you will be accountable for the delivery of a well functioning product, while teaming up with Product Design to raise the bar on usability. This role is part of the Software team, and works as a member of the scrum team with fellow Frontend Developers, Backend Engineers, Product Owner, Product Designer and QA.

Your overall responsibilities include

• Contribute with your team to product development from ideation to deployment;
• Development, testing and doing code reviews for Fastned frontend applications;
• Refine with your team feature requirements to deliver a product that materially impacts the business and improves the customer experience;
• Raise the bar on product usability, contributing to design system creation while developing experiences that deliver WOW on every journey touchpoint;
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and contribute to tech decision making;

• Minimum 3 years of experience with React Native.
• Proficient in Next JS, React and Typescript.
• Develop, test and review code for both React Native and React/Next JS applications.
• Ability to take complex designs from Figma and make the corresponding UI components.
• Experience with React Query.
• Familiarity with iOS Store and Google Play Store distribution.
• Know-how with CI/CD tools such as Bitrise.
• Experience with Jest for testing.
• Experience with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) development
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Problem-solver, innovative in finding and guiding development solutions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
