Job description
- Perform version upgrades and database maintenance on Cincom Supra DBMS.
- Monitor database performance and ensure optimal operation.
- Manage and maintain schema definitions and perform file expansions as needed.
- Troubleshoot issues across Mantis-Supra and COBOL-Supra applications on z/OS.
- Provide support for disaster recovery processes.
Requirements
Do you have experience in COBOL?, We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with deep expertise in Cincom Supra DBMS to support mainframe environments and related applications. This short-term assignment requires strong hands-on technical skills, problem-solving capability, and familiarity with performance optimization in complex database systems., * 10+ years of DBA experience with Cincom Supra DBMS.
- Strong knowledge of Supra/PDM, RDM, and Mantis environments.
- Knowledge of CA Earl reports is a plus (not mandatory).
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and Agile methodologies preferred.
- Proven ability to operate in mainframe environments (z/OS).
