Business Analyst - Data & BI

We are currently working with a leading financial services organisation in the Netherlands that is undergoing a large-scale Data Transformation Programme. As part of this strategic initiative, we are looking for an experienced Data Business Analyst to help bridge the gap between business needs and the overall data strategy., * Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate requirements into data-driven solutions.

• Support the design and implementation of data initiatives aligned with business goals.
• Conduct data profiling, data gap analysis, and contribute to improvements in data quality and governance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.
• Collaborate with data engineering and architecture teams on data modelling and integration efforts.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal data governance policies.

• Proven experience working as a Data Business Analyst in complex, data-driven environments.
• Strong hands-on skills with SQL and Excel, and proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• A solid understanding of data governance, data lineage, and data quality management.
• Prior experience in the financial services sector is essential (e.g., banking, insurance, asset management).
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
