Job description
As Product Owner, you are the point of contact and driving force behind our Devices portfolio. You translate market needs and customer requirements into a clear product vision and concrete development steps.
Specifically, this means that you:
- Shape the product vision and translate it into functional requirements.
- Maintain and prioritise the product backlog for a multidisciplinary development team.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders (worldwide) to ensure alignment with the market.
- Manage the Devices portfolio, from idea to end-of-life.
- Act as an ambassador for devices within the organisation.
Your team
You will work closely with the R&D Team Lead and a driven group of hardware, mechanical, firmware and embedded OS engineers. Together, you will ensure that product strategy is translated into maximum value for our partners and customers. You will also work closely with colleagues from commercial and operational teams.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Jira?, As a Product Owner, you have strong communication skills: you switch effortlessly between different internal and external stakeholders. You are analytically strong, results-oriented and derive energy from achieving joint product objectives. You can strike the right balance between quality and time-to-market and are not afraid to make decisions.
In addition, you recognise yourself in the following:
- Experience: Several years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, such as Product Manager or Project Manager;
- Language skills: Excellent command of Dutch and English;
- An affinity with hardware and technology, and an understanding of the complexity within R&D and the manufacturing industry is a major advantage;
- Experience with Agile working methods and tools such as JIRA, Confluence and MS Teams is an advantage.

Required experience and skills, Good to know: This is a one-year role. There is the prospect of a permanent contract, but this is not yet guaranteed. You are available for 32-38 hours per week. Hybrid (remote) working is common at Nedap and you and your team will agree on your working hours to ensure a good work-life balance. Preferably, you will be present at our campus in Groenlo at least twice a week.
