Make an impact as a Senior DevOps Engineer with Azure DevOps (AzDO): work on standardising DevOps processes within Rabobank, improve the user experience, and help teams collaborate more efficiently.
You & your role
As part of a squad within Area Consumer Interaction, Tribe Tech4Engineering, we enhance user experience and alignment in work-item management using Azure Boards. We collaborate closely with Portfolio Management, Agile practices (Chapter Simplify @ Scale), and other Azure DevOps squads.
Our mission is to standardize Azure DevOps Boards, enabling easy onboarding and consistent processes across teams. By moving from customized setups to a unified approach, we support better alignment with Portfolio Management-while navigating challenges in decision-making, communication, and rollout across Rabobank.
This makes us the leading squad in work-item management, actively contributing to cross-Tribe initiatives and improving connections across Domains. We aim to balance standardization with autonomy, allowing squads to work efficiently and independently.

Top responsibilities
- Achieve standardisation of Azure DevOps processes by configuring teams, boards, and security settings, so teams can start quickly and securely.
- Develop and implement automation solutions and extensions that contribute to a uniform and efficient way of working within Rabobank.
- Lead and coach team members on technical and procedural challenges, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
As a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, you are involved in designing solutions and guiding implementation, with plenty of room for your own initiative and innovation., As a Senior member of the team, you are responsible for:
- Guiding more junior members of the team regarding Rabobank Processes and Policies
- Involved in Solution Design regarding both Technical and Procedural Challenges
- Highly Engaged in Backlog Item Definition and Refinement

- Can you elaborate how you used or would use Project Administrator permissions on an Azure DevOps project to customize settings for a team, combining multiple roles, managing security to access their Azure Board and allow others to read and comment on work-items?

Requirements
Do you have experience in Terraform?, * In-depth experience with Azure DevOps configuration and its REST APIs.
- Experience configuring teams, boards, and security groups in Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform) and .NET programming or similar experience.
