Cloud Support Engineer

This role is focused on supporting a Database Competence Center in the execution of cloud-related tasks and facilitating knowledge transfer in a multicultural environment., * Provide hands-on support to the team in cloud infrastructure and database-related tasks.

• Facilitate effective knowledge sharing across teams, with sensitivity to cultural differences.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of infrastructure-as-code solutions.
• Support CI/CD processes and automation using tools such as GitHub Actions and Ansible.
• Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders, primarily on-site in Amsterdam (2-3 days per week).

• Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, especially Terraform.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (GitHub Actions, Ansible).
• Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Cloud-agnostic experience is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with database services such as PostgreSQL Flexible, Oracle Exadata, CosmosDB, CloudSQL, and MongoDB Atlas is highly desirable.
• Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written).
• Dutch language skills are preferred; French is a nice-to-have.
