Data Engineer

What will you do?

• Design and manage scalable data pipelines and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Develop and maintain standardised data models to support self-service analytics.
• Integrate structured and semi-structured data sources.
• Implement business logic and ensure high data quality.
• Optimise and test data processing code.
• Conduct data quality assessments and provide actionable insights.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate across departments.
• Create clear reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Contribute to the development of the company's data strategy and governance frameworks.

• Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant field (e.g. Data Engineering, Computer Science).
• 3+ years of experience in enterprise data platforms, ideally in insurance or finance.
• Strong skills in Python, PySpark, T-SQL, and Azure data services.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data modelling, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• A proactive, analytical mindset with excellent communication skills.
