Job description

  • Build and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, building, and deployment.
  • Collaborate closely with a small team to enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize applications and infrastructure to ensure high availability and security.
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and best practice sharing.
  • Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using React.js and TypeScript.
  • Design and implement backend services and APIs using Python.
  • Support the deployment of prototype systems (e.g., SDA Dashboard) across different network environments.
  • Provide technical advice on deployment solutions and available options, aligned with organizational architecture and standards.

Requirements

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, What do you need to succeed in this position?

  • Nationally recognized/certified university qualification on computer science / programming [Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by at least 3 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post]
  • 2 Years' experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure DevOps)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Gitlab)
  • Good working knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a team
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn on the job-we value adaptability and a proactive attitude
  • Familiarity with database systems like PostgreSQL
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights)
  • Knowledge of serverless architectures and event-driven systems
  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards
  • Experience with working in a closed environment
  • Experience using React.js and TypeScript
  • Experience with implementing backend services and APIs using Python
  • An Active Security Clearance at NATO Secret level at the time of the application is mandatory
  • Fluent in English at least at a level B2.
