Job description
As a Integration Test Engineer specializing in integration testing, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our mobile and front-end applications. You will design and execute thorough test scenarios that validate seamless communication between mobile devices, front-end interfaces, and back-end systems. Your work will be essential in maintaining the quality and stability of our products, ensuring that every component functions smoothly together to deliver a secure and trusted user experience.
What you will do:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases to verify the integration between mobile devices, front end systems, and back end services.
- Use a variety of test tools and methods to perform functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing.
- Collaborate with developers, system architects, and product owners to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.
- Design and maintain test automation frameworks to make integration testing more efficient and consistent.
- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure quick and effective resolution.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methods to raise the overall level of quality assurance.
- Stay informed about new technologies and trends in testing to share insights and improve integration testing practices.
- Work at least two days a week from the office in Enschede.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Communication skills?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field at the MSc or BSc level.
- Proven experience as a Test Engineer with a focus on integration testing across mobile applications, front end systems, and back end services.
- Solid understanding of testing tools and frameworks such as Robolectric, Espresso, TestCafe, REST Assured, or similar.
- Familiarity with Android and iOS platforms and a good grasp of back end system architectures.
- A Certified Tester Foundation Level Agile Tester (CTFL-AT) certification or equivalent is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with great attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
