- Build and improve user interfaces with React and TypeScript for EMS dashboards and monitoring tools.
- Develop backend APIs and services in Python to connect optimization algorithms, devices, and real-time data streams.
- Design and maintain cloud infrastructure with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Set up and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployments and high development velocity.
- Collaborate with business and sales teams to translate the EMS roadmap into concrete features.
- Ensure security, scalability, and high availability across edge devices, cloud services, and applications.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance improvements.
Requirements
Do you have experience in TypeScript?, We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer with strong frontend expertise and practical DevOps skills. You will play a key role in building user-facing applications, backend services, and the infrastructure that supports our Energy Management System (EMS). This position is central to delivering reliable, scalable, and intuitive tools that connect devices, optimize energy usage, and provide real-time insights to users and operators., You are an all-round Software Engineer with a strong focus on backend development in Python and modern web technologies. You move confidently across the full stack - from APIs and databases to cloud infrastructure and frontend interfaces.
With your analytical mindset, independence, and problem-solving skills, you translate complex challenges into practical, scalable solutions. You thrive in a dynamic environment where collaboration and innovation go hand in hand.
You have:
- At least 3 years of experience with Python (preferably FastAPI) and API development.
- Experience with React and TypeScript for building user-friendly interfaces.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD processes.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and preferably TimescaleDB.
- A good command of English (Dutch is a plus).
- You are authorized to work in the Netherlands.
Bonus points if you have experience in the energy sector, with IoT or energy protocols (such as Modbus, MQTT, or OCPP), or knowledge of real-time data, optimization, or cybersecurity.
You work in a hybrid setup and are present in the office at least two days per week for collaboration and team alignment.
