This is your opportunity to join a leading team that designs and builds world-class superyachts., As a Junior Engineer - Production Support, you will support the technical execution of yacht construction projects. You will translate engineering designs into practical, manufacturable solutions, acting as the link between the engineering department and production teams., * Develop and refine engineering designs, 3D models, and detailed technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with Class, Flag, and internal project specifications.
- Conduct technical assessments for manufacturability and feasibility.
- Identify and resolve technical issues with effective solutions.
- Support production teams by clarifying design intent and ensuring alignment between engineering and on-site execution.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, production staff, and project leads to deliver high-quality results on time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Maritime Technology, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of engineering experience in shipbuilding or yacht building.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in 3D AutoCAD; knowledge of Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and Cadmatic is preferred.
- Familiarity with rooting, hull engineering, exterior engineering, moving equipment, and equipment integration.
- Understanding of onboard systems, weight management, and budgeting.
- Strong knowledge of shipbuilding production and construction processes.
Personal Qualities:
- Analytical and detail-oriented with a high standard for quality.
- Accurate, structured, and proactive in problem-solving.
- Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
