Functional Application Specialist 3DX Configuration Management

As a Functional Application Specialist in 3DX Configuration Management, you will take the lead in developing and designing engineering functionalities within our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform, with a particular focus on the 3Dexperience (3DX) platform. Your role will be instrumental in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering processes, driving significant value in our projects. Key Responsibilities: * Translate engineering business processes into clear and actionable functional specifications for the application. * Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and analyze issues, developing effective solutions. * Design and implement application processes to optimize system performance. * Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and knowledge partners to ensure continuous improvement. * Oversee the integration of various applications and manage user rights within the system. * Coordinate and organize application-specific training sessions in collaboration with the Engineering Support Manager. * Offer functional support to PLM/CAD users to ensure smooth operation of the platform. * Create and update training materials, guides, and application documentation, including user manuals and best practice tips.

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in shipbuilding or mechanical engineering. * Proficiency with the Dassault 3Dexperience (3DX) platform. * Strong knowledge of PLM principles and functional application management. * Excellent command of the English language; proficiency in Dutch is a plus. * Willingness to work regularly from our office in Vlissingen. * Strong references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process. * Permanent EU citizenship and passport are mandatory. Candidates with an EU (work) visa or dual nationality (EU and non-EU) will not be eligible, due to the nature of our military-related projects.
