Do you want to contribute to the future of European space infrastructure? As an Integration, Verification, and Qualification (IVQ) Lead within CGI's Space unit, you will play a pivotal role in one of Europe's flagship programs: Galileo, the global satellite navigation system.

At CGI, we value ownership, trust, and innovation. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary, international team supporting complex system development and ensuring that the final solution is robust, reliable, and aligned with stringent quality standards. Your leadership in Integration, Verification, and Qualification (IVQ) will ensure system readiness, full traceability, and compliance with both client expectations and space industry standards.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the IVQ strategy and plan in alignment with system architecture, development timelines, and customer milestones.
  • Drive the integration of system components (hardware and software), working collaboratively across teams and suppliers.
  • Supervise and support the design and execution of test campaigns, including functional, performance, regression, and acceptance tests.
  • Ensure full requirement traceability from specification to validation, using tools such as Jira and Doors.
  • Combine the V-model approach with Agile practices to enable incremental validation while ensuring long-term compliance and control.
  • Lead the development and application of automated testing strategies, increasing coverage and reliability through tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, or JUnit.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with development and operations teams (e.g. using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker).
  • Identify, assess, and resolve issues and risks related to the integration and validation lifecycle.
  • Prepare technical documentation and deliver reports to internal stakeholders, clients and certification authorities.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field;
  • 5+ years of experience in IVQ or system validation roles, ideally within aerospace, defense, or other mission-critical sectors;
  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies and experience integrating it with Agile delivery approaches (e.g., Scrum, SAFe);
  • Proven experience with test automation tools and continuous integration environments;
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken), with the ability to engage stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains;
  • A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in Galileo, Copernicus, or other European space programs;
  • Familiarity with ECSS standards and space system engineering processes;
  • Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced, SAFe, or PMP;
  • Previous collaboration with ESA, EUSPA, or space industry integrators.

Benefits & conditions

  • Work in small self-managing teams consisting of experts in your field
  • Take control of your own career with the space to continue developing yourself
  • You work with the latest technologies
  • An excellent salary and attractive secondary employment conditions
  • Immediate permanent contract
  • Part-time possibilities
  • And the opportunity to become a CGI shareholder
