We are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to join the IT Team to support our Cyber Security strategy and leverage current investment in IT Security. This is a key strategic role within the organisation and will suit a committed and confident IT professional with sound business acumen. You'll be given real responsibility to shape IT Security strategy and the opportunity to implement technologies which will make a real difference. You'll be a key contributor to the design and architecture of our Technology Security landscape and will work with our security partners to ensure consistent and robust application of our policy. You'll be working with some of the most advanced detection systems and Identity Management software around and you'll be instrumental in getting the best out of them. You'll also be actively involved in helping the company gain Cyber Essentials accreditation whilst developing policies to manage risks and meet security standards to help protect our colleagues, customers and business assets in an evolving cyber world.
The successful candidate will have solid IT background and will report project status through Senior Management and Customer reviews, ensuring the development and implementation of security enhancements and plans where necessary. You'll be monitoring the day-to-day security activities of the team and the company, managing incidents and reporting progress. You'll be working with Senior Management to ensure all colleagues understand the risks faced from Cyber Threats every day, and working with training partners to ensure colleagues have relevant and up-to-date training.

This is a Hybrid role working on site and also from home (the first 3 months during probation will be worked from the office full time, you will then move on to hybrid working from month 4).
