Your new role
We are seeking a Data Engineer (ideal for someone early in their career) to join an Advanced Analytics project within the public sector. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a commitment to learning new technologies, and the ability to follow defined processes. This role requires familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies and excellent problem-solving skills.
What you'll need to succeed
Required Skills & Experience:
Technical Knowledge of some of the following:
- UNIX systems
- SQL (including Oracle DB, Postgres, Azure SQLServer)
- CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, Puppet CI)
- DevOps practices
- Cloud technologies (AWS or Azure)
- Monitoring and messaging tools (ActiveMQ, Zabbix or Grafana)
- Big Data tools (Hadoop or Ambari)
- BPM and SOA tools (Oracle BPM, Oracle SOA, ActiviBPM)
- Web technologies (IIS)
Collaboration Tools:
- Jira
- Confluence
- BitBucket
Candidate Profile:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
- Quick learner with a proactive attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
