Your new role

We are seeking a Data Engineer (ideal for someone early in their career) to join an Advanced Analytics project within the public sector. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a commitment to learning new technologies, and the ability to follow defined processes. This role requires familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies and excellent problem-solving skills.

What you'll need to succeed

Required Skills & Experience:

Technical Knowledge of some of the following:

  • UNIX systems
  • SQL (including Oracle DB, Postgres, Azure SQLServer)
  • CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, Puppet CI)
  • DevOps practices
  • Cloud technologies (AWS or Azure)
  • Monitoring and messaging tools (ActiveMQ, Zabbix or Grafana)
  • Big Data tools (Hadoop or Ambari)
  • BPM and SOA tools (Oracle BPM, Oracle SOA, ActiviBPM)
  • Web technologies (IIS)

Collaboration Tools:

  • Jira
  • Confluence
  • BitBucket

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
  • Quick learner with a proactive attitude
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
