Integration Messaging Engineering

This role is for an experienced Messaging Engineer, with good knowledge around Microsoft Exchange, O365, M365 and the associated services. The individual will be working closely with Global stakeholders and help collaborate with various vertical within EY, the areas involving Messaging Engineering, Architecture, stakeholder relationship, leading technical discussion and providing training. Candidate should have good understanding of MS Exchange, O365, M365 and its integration product lines. The role is part of a Global Engineering team in a large, complex, and multinational environment.

The ideal candidate for this role is comfortable working with the ambiguity of building new features, has a strong technical mindset, is data driven using excellent analytical skills, and has advanced written and verbal communication skills to coordinate efforts across a large group of stakeholders.

Skills and attributes for success:

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, M365, O365 Configuration.
• Knowledge on PowerShell, VB Scripting etc.
• Excellent knowledge of IAM, AAD, ADConnect, SSO, Federation, Ping ID etc.
• Knowledge of Email Hygiene, EOP, Cisco, Hybrid Email Flow Configuration and Troubleshooting.
• Understanding of other technologies such as Active Directory, Windows servers, DNS, and load balancing
• Troubleshooting Skills on Email routing,
• A, PTR, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, TxT, MX Records.
• Excellent networking knowledge and skills
• Expert level knowledge of M365 and Messaging related technologies:
• Certificate Services, S/MIME
• Excellent understand of both Web and Rich Client of Outlook.
• Well verged email troubleshooting knowledge i.e. WireShark, NetMon, MXtoolbox, Email Analyzer, MS Sizer for Messaging.
• Excellent of firewall and TCPIP port

To qualify for the role, you must have

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, O365 and M365 (Cloud and On-premises)

• Hands on implementation experience on handling complex Integration, Implementation b/w Microsoft Saas
• applications.
• Large scale knowledge on technology disinvestment, mergers, demergers.
• SME knowledge of Outlook 2010,2013,2016, and 2019 in a Windows 2016/2019 environment
• SME knowledge of Exchange 2010/2013/2016/2019
• Experience of HA clustering solutions and management of uptime
• Resource monitoring experience on a real time basis to maintain High Availability
• Mail Routing troubleshooting engaging with multiple partner systems and owning the progress of
• resolutions across outside domains
• Knowledge of managing multiple vendor requirement with an emphasis on Microsoft Exchange, M365,
• Power platform is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of Unified communications environments with a focus on mobility and demonstrated
• ability to integrate these tools into existing environments. Certification and design experience in Microsoft Intune for business, Microsoft Teams and Cisco is a plus.
• Solid understanding of other technologies such as Active Directory, IAM, Windows servers, and Certificate and
• Networking.
• Modern Authentication flow knowledge with Hybrid Cloud setup.
• DNS and DHCP Knowledge with vast implementation experience
• Knowledge of F5 / BG IP / Cisco IronPort, EOP Email Hygiene and other vendor load balancers and Email
• Hygiene solution. Excellent networking, firewall, TCIP/IP, SNMP stack.
• Excellent knowledge on Microsoft Graph and various permissions including Groups,
• Substantial, extensive, and demonstrated experience in various aspects of technology infrastructure design and implementation, with tangible, relevant and demonstrated experience in delivering projects within scope
• and budget
• Experience troubleshooting end user issues
• Expert in Due diligence, Designing, Planning, Integrating, Implementation of both On-Prem, Cloud and
• migration of Messaging environment b/w On-Prem to Cloud, Within Cloud b/w Tenant to Tenant.
• Experience of an ITIL managed environment
• Preparing HLD, LLD documents and must have min 13 years of experience in Design & implement &
• Migration M365 Migrations.
• Be customer point of contact to play vital role in Design, Optimizing
• SME knowledge of Exchange & outlook 2010/2016/2019
• PowerShell scripting for Exchange/ Exchange Online / M365
• Resource monitoring experience on a real time basis to maintain High Availability
• Mail Routing (Transport Rules) troubleshooting engaging with multiple partner systems and owning the
• progress of resolutions across outside domains
• Understanding of anti-virus principles relating to Exchange environment

• At least 10+ years of total IT experience with 5+ years of experience in the relevant technologies
• Ability to understand and analyze business requirements by working with stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to work on both Agile and Waterfall projects
• Ensure EY and Industry coding, architectural, and information security standards are maintained
