Job description

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a deep understanding of computer science principles and their practical applications. You will guide students through the national curriculum, inspiring a lifelong interest in this dynamic field., * Design and deliver engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Computer Science department to share best practices and enhance the quality of teaching and learning.

Requirements

We are pleased to partner with a well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Portsmouth as they seek a highly qualified and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher. This full-time, permanent position commences in September and presents an outstanding opportunity for an individual passionate about equipping students with essential digital literacy skills for the 21st century., * A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification recognized in the UK.
  • Proven experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary school level.
  • A strong understanding of programming languages, algorithms, data structures, and other core computer science concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and inspire them to achieve their best.
