Job description
We're building tools that make working with Revit simpler, faster, and a whole lot less painful. Our platform helps architects and engineers manage their content libraries, track how models evolve, and enforce better standards without the usual chaos.
We're hiring a C# developer to help us go deeper into the world of Revit - improving our add-in, scaling sync capabilities, and crafting the behind-the-scenes magic that makes Kinship feel seamless to our users. If you know your way around Revit's quirks and love writing clean, solid code that solves real-world problems, this is for you.
- Develop and maintain our Revit add-in using C#
- Implement new features and improvements within the Revit environment
- Integrate the add-in with backend services via REST APIs
- Handle data synchronization between Revit and our cloud platform
- Contribute to architectural decisions and collaborate with other engineers on design and implementation
Requirements
- 3-6+ years of experience writing C#
- Strong hands-on experience with developing desktop application
- Solid MVVM knowledge (using CommunityToolkit.Mvvm)
- Experience with WPF or WinUI 3 (including styles, templates, and resource dictionaries)
- Confident with async programming and writing responsive, stable desktop apps
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with the Revit API, or similar
- Experience with dependency injection
- Familiarity with build tools like Nuke and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of mapping tools (e.g., Mapperly, AutoMapper)
- You write unit tests and know when they matter
- Experience with structured logging (Serilog preferred)
- Familiarity with observability tools like OpenTelemetry
- Some experience with ASP.NET and how web APIs are built
Benefits & conditions
- Competitive salary
- A beautiful, plant-filled office in central London (by Southwark tube station) and good coffee (obviously)
- A no-BS team of people who love building great software together
- Real autonomy and influence over product and tech decisions
- A company that believes in work-life balance
