Job description
As a Senior Developer specialising in Microsoft Azure, C#, and the Blazor framework for web development, you will lead the design and development of robust, user-centric web applications. Your expertise will drive the creation of insurance solutions that deliver seamless, secure, and visually compelling experiences for users. You'll work across the full stack, supporting the API backend delivery and specialising in Blazor for modern web applications to wrap Vave's API platform., * Develop and maintain web applications using C# and Blazor (WebAssembly and Server), ensuring high performance, security, and maintainability.
- Design scalable and maintainable component libraries and design systems to ensure visual and functional consistency across projects.
- Implement responsive layouts and accessibility best practices (WCAG), optimising for performance and inclusivity across browsers and devices.
- Collaborate throughout the development lifecycle, including discovery, planning, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
- Support your peers, conduct code reviews, and foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in .NET, Blazor, Azure, and web technologies, recommending improvements to workflows and user interfaces.
Requirements
- C# & .NET: Advanced experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem, including ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework.
- Blazor: Deep expertise in Blazor (WebAssembly and Server), including component-based architecture, state management, and integration with RESTful APIs.
- Azure Cloud: Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and scaling web applications on Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, etc.).
- Modern Styling: Skilled in CSS, SASS/SCSS, or CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind) for efficient, scalable styling within Blazor projects.
- UI/UX & Accessibility: Basic understanding of user-centred design, usability, and accessibility standards.
