Job description
Location - Nottingham Mandatory work from office 3 days per week Additional Remarks: Job Purpose and Primary Objectives As a key member of the S/4 Transformation Programme team, the candidate will work on the S/4HANA program, bringing expertise and knowledge from a finance background - covering design gaps, build, testing, dress rehearsal, cutover, and go-live/hypercare phases., (Please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team)
- Liaise with a network team of process analysts and subject matter experts in identifying potential gaps within design and build.
- Provide guidance and input to activities including data conversion and cleansing, reporting remediation, cutover support, and deployment planning.
- Capital Projects / WBS Define mass creation of WBS to enable transition to IOs.
- Intercompany Define detailed actions required at cutover (clearing balances, journaling, etc.).
- Fixed Assets Manage technical load process and ledger initiation.
- Chart of Accounts Define and configure attributes.
- Using BPD supplements, define step-level operational usage, including resolution of known defects/gaps in Collection and Disputes, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, IFRS ledger, etc.
- UAT Execution Support Support business F&P team members by guiding testers through execution.

Requirements
- Knowledge and experience of delivering SAP S/4 Transformation Programs in SAP FI.
- Deep technical knowledge in SAP FI and data reconciliation.
- Strong knowledge and experience in financial reporting and consolidation systems, including statutory (local) and US GAAP reporting; experience with Cognos and SAP is an advantage.
- Willingness to challenge assumptions, identify potential errors, and highlight process or system issues.
- Ability to explain complex financial issues to non-finance stakeholders and build strong relationships with senior business partners.
- Capability to build and expand networks across the business, identifying where additional support is needed.
- Understanding of US SOX controls and system control environments.
- Enthusiasm and willingness to take on challenges and be involved in detailed work as required.
- Deep process knowledge in the area of expertise.
- Effective team leadership and motivational skills.
- Ability to present technical scenarios clearly to non-technical audiences.
