What You'll Do

  • Develop, refine, and maintain gameplay systems with a focus on combat and enemy AI behaviours.
  • Write clean, performant C++ code and provide constructive code reviews for teammates.

  • Support the refactoring and modernisation of legacy gameplay systems into Unreal Engine 5.
  • Prototype new gameplay mechanics and iterate based on feedback from the wider team.

Requirements

  • At least one shipped AAA title.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5).
  • Hands-on experience building and optimising combat mechanics (melee, ranged, abilities, targeting, combos, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of enemy AI systems, including behaviours, state machines, decision trees, and pathfinding.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.

Benefits & conditions

  • Opportunity to work on an unannounced AAA project using Unreal Engine 5.
  • Collaborative and creative team culture with regular studio socials.
  • Competitive base salary in line with seniority.
