Job Title: Business Systems Engineer - ERP & CRM Location: Northern Ireland (Hybrid: Cookstown & Monkstown) Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Sector: Technology & Analytics / IT Support / Business Systems Salary: Competitive + Benefits
Overview: A leading global engineering company is seeking a Business Systems Engineer to support and enhance its ERP, CRM, and business systems' infrastructure. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional with experience in ERP support, data migration, and business intelligence reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for ERP and CRM systems.
- Develop and implement technical solutions including data migration, permission sets, custom objects, reports, and analytics.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to deliver roadmap projects.
- Create and maintain system documentation and user training materials.
- Support business improvement initiatives and mentor support staff.
- Participate in change management and system lifecycle activities.
- Occasionally provide out-of-hours support.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Computing or 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong SQL and database management skills.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Experience with large datasets and data modelling.
- Familiarity with Crystal Reports, PLSQL, and ITIL practices.
- Clean driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally.
