Job description

  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and understand their business needs related to financial planning and analysis
  • Design and implement Workday Adaptive Planning solutions that align with client objectives and best practices
  • Provide guidance on system configuration, data integration, and user training to ensure effective use of Adaptive Planning tools
  • Translate complex financial processes into effective solutions within Adaptive Planning
  • Stay up-to-date with Workday Adaptive Planning enhancements and industry trends to continually improve offerings
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in cloud adoption and become a trusted advisor to the CFO and other key decision makers
  • Grow and strengthen relationships with Workday as a technology partner
  • Support with sales initiatives (RFPs, vendor evaluations, demonstrations) and promotion of Deloitte Workday Adaptive Planning practice in the ecosystem

Requirements

Do you have experience in Workday?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, The Solution Architect will play a critical role in implementing Workday Adaptive Planning solutions for our clients. This individual will leverage their expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to design, configure, and optimize Adaptive Planning solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a deep understanding of accounting principles., * BA/BS degree in Computer Science (or related software engineering field) and/ or Finance related degree, or equivalent practical experience

  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) roles
  • Proven hands-on experience implementing Workday Adaptive Planning solutions
  • Accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is essential

Desirable:

  • Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively to various stakeholders.
  • Comfortable talking about technical issues with business people and business issues with technical people.
  • Able to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences
  • Ability to craft a compelling message and tailor it for a given audience, combining technical expertise with simple, everyday language to deliver a story
  • Ability to work well with a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team and clients
  • Effective cross-functional project management, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a focus on translating business requirements into information models
  • Demonstrated leadership and self-direction.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
