Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Field Engineer to join our clients' team in the Information Technology department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support to our clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' IT systems., * Provide on-site technical support to clients

  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues
  • Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems
  • Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes, * Network Infrastructure maintenance and installations (Routers, Switches, AP's, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Firewalls, VLAN's)
  • Azure administration and implementations
  • Valid drivers license and own vehicle (mandatory)

PC Specifications:

The company has a BYOD (bring your own device) policy and requires all staff to have a minimum of:

  • Windows 11
  • 12 GB Ram minimum
  • SSD 256GB minimum
  • Generation, depending on processor family:
  • i9 - 8th gen
  • i7 - 8th gen
  • i5 - 8th gen
  • i3 - 10th gen

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in 3rd Line IT support
  • Previous Field experience is essential
  • Strong knowledge of hardware and software systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Configure and implement cyber essentials and GDPR security standards (mandatory)

  • Salary: £35000 - £45000 per annum depending on experience
