Job description

As UK IT Lead, you'll take charge of our infrastructure and IT service delivery across the UK, reporting to the IT Service and Infrastructure Director. From cloud strategy to on-site tech support, you'll ensure smooth operations and high performance - all while leading a team with energy, empathy and purpose.

We're seeking someone who brings excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, who can build trust, develop talent, and foster collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the UK's technical expert in system administration
  • Configure and deploy new software, hardware, and cloud infrastructure (Azure)
  • Manage Active Directory, group policy, user accounts and permissions
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the service desk team
  • Provide support for escalated technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Drive platform strategy and Azure maturity across the business
  • Champion EH&S, diversity, inclusion and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and global counterparts

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in IT infrastructure & operations
  • Proven experience leading and motivating IT teams
  • Outstanding interpersonal and people management skills
  • Strong working knowledge of ITSM platforms (e.g. Cherwell, ServiceNow)
  • Familiarity with Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms
  • Certifications in ITIL or ITSM frameworks (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Tableau and advanced analytics (a plus)
