Job description
- Create, co-develop, and manage moderate to complex communications for leadership to inform and motivate various internal and external stakeholders about markets, client and other functional/internal client programs and developments affecting the strategy. Drafts, obtains approval, and executes actual "messages" through a variety of media platforms/mediums including webcasts, videos, speeches, meetings, presentations, e-mails, daily connects, weekly chronicles, thought leadership, research papers, etc.
- Possesses an understanding of markets or their respective functional practice/internal clients and has strong comfort level working across service lines, industry and/or their respective functional practice/internal client group.
- Co-develops with senior leadership effective strategic communication objectives and initiatives.
- Creates, develops, and manages the project scope and schedule for simple to complex multiple projects; plans and assigns resources to associated tasks and deliverables as appropriate; manages resources, tasks based on project plan.
- Develops and maintains relationships with project stakeholders; manages project stakeholder's expectations; negotiates with and influences project sponsors on project specific items.
- Responds to inquiries about communication deliverables and are responsible to respond back to all levels of management within the firm.
- Presents complex ideas and anticipates potential objections; influences others; anticipates and communicates ramifications of decisions and issues to project stakeholders and presents alternatives.
- Support evolving business dynamics and relentlessly focus on improving existing business processes and initiatives involving technology applications
- Act as a technical expert for identified internal applications and share knowledge as appropriate
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
- Possesses domain expertise in own area of knowledge and usually accomplishes work through self or subordinate professionals.
- Work closely with experienced AMs and Managers/ team members and support execution of work across business marketing operations domain.
Requirements
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (including presentations) as well as listening and interpretation skills
- Experience with MS Office suite like such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
- Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills, including the development of junior staff
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent knowledge of primary and secondary research for internal and external clients
- Stakeholder management
- Internal communications experience
- Manage, gather content, develop quality content for multiple stakeholders
- Create content for success stories, announcements, newsletters, and similar documents
- Ability to adapt their style, eye for detail, and adherence to firms' tone, brand, and style
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt priorities as the business evolves
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Post-Graduation in Marketing, Mass Communications, or International Business) with 3-4 years of work experience in internal marketing, communication, and branding.
- Knowledge of market research
- Knowledge of tools such as Qualtrics, Unily and Marketo will be an added advantage., * A candidate with commercial acumen, technical experience, and enthusiasm to learn new things in this fast-moving environment
