Job description

In this position, you will be joining the Intel Automotive Customer Engineering team as a Platform Applications Engineer (PAE) in the Corporate Strategy and Ventures organization. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: -Representing customer technical needs and requirement in new product development. - Providing technical assistance for the Car OEMs, Tier-1s and their ODMs by triaging customer issues and drive resolution across organizational boundaries. - Create and maintain customer collateral, training materials and usage guidelines. Contribute to demonstrator creation and presentation for future design win pursuit. - Willing to travel especially within Asia for onsite customer support., Corporate Strategy Office is chartered to support the executive office in driving corporate initiatives, including near and long-term strategy, major cross-group decision making and ensuring cross-company alignment. To deliver to that mission, the team owns shaping, driving and synthesizing insights to directionally orient trends as well as long range strategic planning/visioning , cross company alignment and greenfield innovation. Communications are essential to drive alignment so there is a focus on communications, community and acumen development. The team is ccommitted to ensuring that Intel efforts are aligned to, and actively driving success toward the most impactful business strategies.

Minimum Qualifications: - Applicant must have a MSEE, BSEE or BSCS or equivalent with 5 years+ of experience related to BIOS/Bootloader/Firmware development, system integration. - Experience in debugging automotive applications related problems from concurrent system configuration, software/firmware, and hardware factors. - Experience in a customer-facing support role and have the ability to listen, understand, and respond professionally to customer questions and issues. - Strong knowledge in two or more of the following: Android, Linux, graphics, displays, cameras, audio, hypervisors/virtualization, HSIO, MCUs, automotive ethernet Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in automotive system design and their use cases. - Strong lab debug skills. Ability to use lab tools including debuggers, Protocol analyzers and high-speed oscilloscopes. Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.

In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
