We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Senior Software Engineer.
In this role, you will:
- Experience with Oracle/SQL, Linux/Unix commands, Java/Bash/Shell - debugging and writing new code, App Dynamics. Knowledge of micro-services monitoring tools. Splunk (or similar), Github, Gitlab, Troubleshoot, Fix, and push back through CI/CD (if mature enough), Exposure to Grafana, Ticketing tool GSD/ServiceNow.
- Demonstrable, excellent, spoken & written communication skills across global organization,
- Proven triage capability under pressure, able to make strong priority judgement at runtime balancing contending demands
- Ability to work independently and think out of the box. Exposure to follow the sun support model
- Production support mindset. Need to handle Level 2 support. Should be willing to work in shifts. Should be to support releases during weekends, night hours. Should be willing to support On-call support during non-working hours. Flexible to support anytime at short notice.
- Strong analytical, investigation skills.
- Should be able to handle crisis calls
- Should have sufficient knowledge on the Incident Management and Problem Management
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Knowledge of ITIL processes. Knowledge on Control-M monitoring
- Should have hand-on experience on working with the ORMB application. Should be able to handle crisis calls.
- Ability to problem solve, dive deep to address issues, drive performance diagnosis and/or lead debugging and troubleshooting activities.
- Expert in Oracle 10/11g PL SQL - and Unix Scripting. Strong technical leadership, communication and listening skills.
- Procedures, Functions, Error Handling, Indexing and the Debugging skills.
- Production support mindset. Need to handle Level 2 support. Should be willing to work in shifts.
- Should be to support releases during weekends, night hours. Should be willing to support On-call support during non-working hours.
- Flexible to support anytime at short notice. Strong analytical, investigation skills.
The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:
- Knowledge on WAS,MQ would be added advantage.
