Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a variety of projects, from designing new digital tools to maintaining and improving existing services in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment. What You'll Do

Design and build high-quality, robust, and secure software products and solutions.
Work across both server-side and client-side technologies, utilising low-code/no-code platforms when needed.
Maintain and improve existing systems, fixing bugs and resolving live support issues quickly and efficiently.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering colleagues to deliver end-user-focused outcomes.
Work within waterfall or agile frameworks depending on project requirements.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with solid understanding of both back-end and front-end development.
Strong knowledge of server-side technologies (e.g. ColdFusion, PHP, Java).
Confident with client-side technologies (HTML/CSS) and version control systems (Git, Subversion).
Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or Microsoft SQL.
Excellent communication skills - able to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
