We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pega Senior System Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pega application development and architecture, with post-CSSA (Certification for Senior System Architect) certification.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust Pega solutions across a dynamic and expanding portfolio. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and lead development efforts, ensuring architectural integrity and adherence to best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Engaging directly with business stakeholders to co-create solutions, manage deployments via CI/CD pipelines, and support all phases of development from ideation to production.
Pega is rapidly scaling across the building society, particularly within the Mortgages and Financial Wellbeing department. As part of a collaborative and supportive development team, you'll contribute to a wide range of initiatives, bringing deep expertise in building Pega applications of varying complexity. This role is part of the Mortgage Operations Value Stream within the Mortgages and Financial Wellbeing department-a critical area focused on delivering seamless, efficient, and member-centric mortgage services. The team supports the full lifecycle of mortgage operations, from application through servicing, ensuring timely, transparent, and supportive experiences for members., As an experienced Senior System Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in the full software development lifecycle. From engaging with business stakeholders to designing and implementing scalable Pega solutions and managing deployments through CI/CD pipelines. You'll lead and mentor developers across varying experience levels, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality code that aligns with architectural best practices.
You'll serve as the primary technical point of contact for multiple stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into business-friendly language, committing to delivery timelines, and addressing queries related to Pega Mortgages. Requirements
- Hands-on experience in Pega development, including as a Pega Certified Senior System Architect
- Expertise in core Pega features such as case management, integrations, reporting, SLA management, and performance optimization
- Skilled in designing scalable class structures, data models, UI components, and integration strategies
- Proven track record of delivering Pega projects into production and optimizing application and database performance
- Experience leading development teams, mentoring junior engineers, and conducting code reviews to ensure best practices
- Active contributor to architectural discussions and technical strategy, aligning solutions with business goals
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into maintainable Pega solutions and manage deployments via CI/CD pipelines
