Job description
The GPI Senior Consultant specialist will be a certified Pega Senior Systems Architect. They will be responsible for the design and development of the application, ensuring it is maintained, developed and deployed in line with HSBC and Pega PRPC best-practices along with, the following responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing the Solution Design for the new Requirements / Enhancements / Business Problem Statement.
- Responsible for preparing the solution Design document and present it to the Architecture Forum for their approval.
- Manages activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation.
- Directly assists in the development of a solutions architecture program including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems architecture. Ensures solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with the standards guidelines of technology solutions.
- Responsible for understanding on the Product Enhancement and suggest business on the Functional Enhancements.
- Responsible for providing Integration Solution with the Partner Teams. And making the application future ready for migrating / maintaining the features and enhancements related to Cloud Migration, AI/ML.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet and perform to technical and functional requirements, working through vendor and local/offshore in-house staff.
- Ensure the deliverables are of high quality following HSBC Quality Processes and deliverables meet the performance thresholds expected. Adhere to HSBC and PRPC best practice; ensuring stability, scalability, easy maintenance and efficient performance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Must have 8-10 years of experience in Software Engineering with PEGA based platform and should have In-depth knowledge integrations like SOAP, REST and other PEGA provided API and solid understanding on oracle, XML, Java and SQL
- Extensive experience of PRPC version 8.x and the Smart Investigate framework, 3+ years in Development (Essential).
- Should have working knowledge in PEGA, Architecture, Pega Version Upgrade, managing the parallel development.
- Indexing, Arching & Purging, Session management, Customized logging, creating custom Guardrail, very good knowledge on PDC, Class Dependencies, Rule Dependents, etc
- Should have conducted architecture design reviews, code walkthroughs, and performance and security reviews.
- Support /Guide teams in Creation of re-usable assets, frameworks, solution packs and good understanding on PEGA best practices, implementation life cycles and proficiency in using JIRA and Confluence
- Required certifications: CLSA (Certified Lead System Architect)
The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:
- Experience of working on Google Cloud for Pega development & deployment.
